Feeding the ducks

Ruth and I went on a lovely holiday a few weeks ago. Amongst the highlights (for me, anyway) was to feed the ducks near Keswick. Lots of lovely tame ducks to torment with bread…! However, Ruth’s camera was playing up a bit, so we weren’t able to get all the photos we wanted.

However, I got a bit carried away. And as Jen and Paul got a bit bored, they decided it would be fun to put sticks down the back of my neck! I probably did deserve it tho’.

Never give bread to water birds! Buggers their insides. Always throw it in the water from where they can eat it.

Or so I’ve been told.

And that last one looks decidedly /unlike/ a duck…
